Meldonfield Miniatures Collection – Temporarily closed

The Meldonfield Miniatures hand crafted horse drawn vehicles are a labour of love that reflect the pioneering days of the bush. Eldon and Mary Zimmermann moved to Peterborough from Goolwa in 2004, Eldon’s great grandparents were Johann and Ernestine Koch, the original pioneers of Peterborough. Scottish born Mary is responsible for the ‘little people’, the harness, hoods and upholstery. They retired due to Eldon’s failing health and the Council became the new owners of Meldonfield Miniatures, which now live in the Social History Museum (formerly the YMCA).
