The RV Park is Open – free accommodation

Peterborough is again welcoming motoring enthusiasts from around South Australia following the recent reopening of the town’s RV park.

Peterborough was the first town in the region to provide free RV accommodation to travellers this has been further developed with a RV Park also in Yongala.

Peterborough is pleased to offer and welcome travellers back to the region.

The free Peterborough RV Park is located at the western end of town, in walking distance to the Main Street, the Steamtown Heritage Rail Centre, the Visitor Information Centre, and the ‘off-leash’ dog park.

The Yongala RV Park is located at the southern end of the quaint town’s Main Street. The Yongala township is only short drive from local shops and other amenities and a short walk to the Globe Hotel which has takeaway meals available.

Both RV Parks offer ample space for self-contained campers to set up and enjoy. There is a maximum 72 hour stay. If the RV Park isn’t for you, or you want to experience Peterborough for longer, the Peterborough Caravan Park has wonderful amenities and is happy to accommodate you.

If you are a traveller there is no need to book, you can simply turn up and set up! However, if you do have questions contact the Visitor Information Centre, they will be more than happy to help.
