Snap Peterborough Photo Competition

Peterborough congratulates the winner of our recent ‘Snap Peterborough’ photo competition, Adam Tuckwell. This image was chosen for its creativity, beauty and how it encapsulates Peterborough’s essence.

In the last two weeks of May 2020 a photo competition was held to support our new campaign encouraging people to make tracks to Peterborough. This campaign has been in the making over the last 18 months and was made possible by a group of stakeholders in Peterborough and with a successful Building Better Region Fund Grant through the Community Investment Stream.

As part of the new Make Tracks to Peterborough campaign we wanted to capture, through a local lens, Peterborough’s rich history, the real South Australian experiences and adventures offered locally and our people and stories.

In excess of 200 photos were received, these along with the winning photo, will help us positively promote the area as a place to visit, stay, live and invest.

These images will appear on Facebook, Instagram, the recently launched website and through other marketing collateral.

Thank you to our judges, Mayor Ruth Whittle OAM of the District Council of Peterborough and Mim Ward the Tourism Manager for Clare Valley and the Southern Flinders Ranges with Regional Development Australia Yorke and Mid North.
