Cinders the cat visited Steamtown about 6 weeks ago and decided to stay. The staff at Steamtown have kindly set up a bed in the turntable hut. She is very friendly and loves people, making sure she visits the tour group every morning around 10am in the Roundhouse or the Diesel Shed. On the occasion, she has been spotted watching our famous Sound and Light show!
How did Cinders get her name? The Visitor Information Centre ran a Facebook competition and Cinders was decided! A perfect name for a steam train cat if you ask me!
