Cemeteries

Delve into family history through our local cemeteries at Peterborough, Yongala, Nackara, Lancelot, Dawson and Oodlawirra. Cemetery records, local history archives, photos and local newspaper prior 1950 can be found at the Community Library archive room, at rear of the High School, Queen Street. Over 1000 plaques have been placed on unmarked graves in the cemeteries to aid visitors to find plots. Local Cemetery DVD’s are available to purchase from The Visitor Information Center.
