Collect your maps and head on a leisurely Sunday drive

Choose from four of our local drives! If you ask us, we recommend either the Northern Areas Scenic Drive or the Dare’s Hill Circuit Drive! Plenty of sights and landmarks along the way! Collect your map from the Visitor Information Centre.

Enjoy a delicious evening meal

Sit by the wood fire or next to the heater and enjoy a tasty meal at one our many restaurants and hotels. We have the Globe Hotel in Yongala, or the Railway hotel, Junction Hotel and Roundhouse offering evening meals in Peterborough.

Grab a bargain at the monthly markets

Peterborough’s Country Market is not to be missed! With over 30 stall holders, you’re bound to find something you love! The markets run every 3rd Saturday of the month at the Art Centre.

This 1916 first class sleeping car is home to an exciting interpretive timeline of Peterborough! Travel back in time whilst you sit in the carriage’s compartments and listen to the sounds of a moving train. Don’t forget to get a Selfie with Bob the Dog if you can spot him!
